Purchase Gift

1 Module Introduction

Purchase Gift is a core tool for F&B merchants to incentivize purchases and boost repeat business. It sets tiered reward rules for customers to automatically earn points, coupons and other rewards for spending, supports precise configuration of eligible scenarios and audiences, strengthens purchase and repeat visit incentives, raises spending frequency and average order value, and achieves the dual goals of deepening customer loyalty and driving steady revenue growth.

2 Configuration Guide

2.1 Accessing the Feature

  1. Log in to the SaaS Admin Portal.
  2. Navigate to【Membership Marketing】>【Marketing】>【Marketing Activities】.
  1. Click【Create Activity】in the top-right corner and select the Purchase Gift module.

2.2 Basic Settings

  1. Activity Name: Enter a clear name for easy customer recognition

    • Example: “Spend $200, Get a Gift!”
  2. Activity Code: Enter a unique ID for internal management and tracking

  3. Validity Period: Set the campaign start and end time for rational scheduling

  4. Description: Briefly describe campaign details and rules for clarity

2.3 Rule Settings

  1. Tier Configuration: Support up to 5 reward tiers, with customizable spending thresholds and gift quantities for each tier

  2. Eligibility Rules

    • Spend $X on Any Items to Get a Gift: Customers qualify for rewards when their total spend on all in-store items meets the threshold
    • Get a Gift for Every $X Spent on Any Items: Rewards are triggered each time the specified spending threshold is met for all in-store items (cumulative tiered rewards)
    • Spend $X on Selected Items to Get a Gift: Customers only qualify for rewards when their spend on pre-set selected items meets the threshold
    • Get a Gift for Every $X Spent on Selected Items: Rewards are triggered each time the specified spending threshold is met for pre-set selected items (cumulative tiered rewards)
  3. Item Selection: Required if selecting a Selected Items eligibility rule; only the chosen items are included in the campaign

  4. Reward Selection: Select one or both of the following reward types:

    • Points Reward: Set the number of points to be awarded, then select a points distribution rule: Instant, Hourly, Daily
    • Coupon Reward: Add multiple coupon types to meet different customer needs.Configure the following details for each added coupon:
      • Reward Name: Select the specific coupon type
      • Reward Quantity: Enter the number of coupons to be awarded
      • Validity Type: Select Relative Validity or Fixed Validity, then complete the configuration:
        • Relative Validity: Validity period starts from the moment the customer claims the coupon
          • Example: “Valid for 7 days after claim”
        • Fixed Validity: Coupon is valid for a pre-set time period, independent of the claim time
          • Example: “Valid from 2024-11-01 00:00:00 to 2024-11-11 23:59:59”

2.4 Applicable Stores

  • Select the stores to participate in the campaign; support full selection or partial selection (filter by store or organization dimension)

2.5 Advanced Settings

  1. Eligible Business Types: All selected by default; optional: Dine-In, Delivery, Self-Pickup

  2. Eligible Channels: All selected by default; optional: In-Store POS, Online

  3. User Participation Limits

    • Total Participation Limit per User: Set the maximum number of times a single user can participate in the entire campaign period (e.g., 3 times per user)
    • Daily Participation Limit per User: Set the maximum number of times a single user can participate per day (e.g., 1 time per day)
  4. Target Audience: Select the specific user scope for the campaign based on 5 dimensions:

    • All Users: Applies to all store members
    • Loyalty Card Plans: Filter users by one or more loyalty card plans
    • Loyalty Card Tiers: Filter users by different card tiers under loyalty card plans
    • Member Segments: Filter users by one or more member segments
    • Member Tags: Filter users by one or more member tags (e.g., New Users, Repeat Users)
  5. Advanced Date Settings: Set specific effective time for the campaign; optional: Daily, Weekly, Monthly

  6. Reward Exclusivity Rules:

    • Exclusive of Other Coupons: When enabled, select Exclusive of All Coupons or Exclusive of Selected Coupons; select the specific excluded coupons if choosing the latter
    • Exclusive of Other Promotions: When enabled, select Exclusive of All Promotions or Exclusive of Selected Promotions; select the specific excluded promotions if choosing the latter
    • Exclusive of Member Benefits: When enabled, select exclusive of Member Price and/or Member Discount (multiple selections allowed)
    • Exclusive of Member Assets: When enabled, select exclusive of Member Prepaid Balance and/or Member Points (multiple selections allowed)

3 Activity Activation & Management

  1. Activating the Activity

    • After completing all configurations, click Save to launch the activity immediately.
  2. Activity Management & Monitoring

    • View activity performance data (including order volume and participant metrics) on the Activity Management page.
    • Pause, adjust, or archive the activity at any time as needed.
